I’m a self-taught braider and loctician from Upstate New York. I’ve been working with hair since I was 13, and by the age of 22, I officially began my career in the hair industry.

Coming from a big family, I had plenty of nieces and nephews to practice on as I developed my craft—and I’m grateful for every moment that helped me grow.

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m a mom of two young daughters. I love spending time with them, watching them grow, learn, and discover the world. Outside of braiding, locs, and twists, I find peace in nature and stay inspired by everything I take in from the world around me.

Along my journey, I was given the nickname Hairbender, which truly captures my creative approach to hair. I love blending pattern work, freestyle designs, and intentional styling to bring each client’s vision to life.

The most rewarding part of my work is seeing my clients light up after a service. Watching them leave my chair feeling happy, refreshed, and confident is why I love what I do.
